Happiness Tea Gathering
On the afternoon of October 13th, the Happiness Research Center of Canada organized a unique "Happiness Pact Tea Gathering" with the theme "Embracing Anxiety about an Uncertain Future in the Post-Pandemic Era."
Over the past three years, the pandemic has posed severe challenges to the physical and mental health of all humanity, significantly impacting people's emotions, learning, work, family, and interpersonal relationships, leading to a continuous rise in anxiety, depression rates, and suicide rates.
According to statistics from the World Health Organization, the global population suffering from anxiety and depression has exceeded one billion, and the numbers are still on the rise.
In the post-pandemic era, we all wonder how to deal with our anxieties and live a more carefree and comfortable life. At the tea gathering, Ms. Anne, the founder of the Happiness Research Center of Canada, discussed coping strategies against anxiety based on "the five dimensions of happiness."
As the event approached its conclusion, a beautiful rainbow appeared outside the window, causing the attending friends to exclaim with delight. It was seen as an auspicious sign, symbolizing that a bright and splendid tomorrow awaits us, no matter the difficulties we go through.
The head of the Happiness Research Center of Canada expressed that the center's mission is to spread happiness and positivity.
In the future, they plan to host a series of activities related to happiness themes, with the aim of actively embracing the future and collectively pursuing a happier life.
Adolescence Education Seminar
Adolescence is the most crucial and vibrant period in one's life, as well as the stage of the most significant physical and psychological changes. Writers refer to this phase as the "prime of life," sociologists call it the "season of many events," and criminal psychologists label it as the "most dangerous age."
Indeed, adolescents during this period are prone to various issues, such as academic disinterest, social difficulties, early romantic relationships, internet addiction, and low resilience, all of which have become insurmountable concerns for many parents. Especially in the past three years, the pandemic has brought even more severe challenges to the physical and mental health of teenagers.
